Why does the system Razorback install come only in 37' sections?

With seamless gutter systems, the installer rolls out a coil from the back end of a machine, at any length desired. It saves the installer money.

But perhaps you didn't know that anything past a certain length— 37 feet, to be exact— is too long.

The aluminum industry simply does not recommend the installation of ANY continuous gutter section,
anytime of the year, at any temperature, in excess of 40 feet. Expansion joints are to be used on runs longer than 40 feet.

Without expansion joints, your long, continuous run of gutter will expand and contract horizontally with the changing temperatures,
working the hangers loose. Holes in the side of your home expand with this movement and the gutter system sags and begins to detach
and to develop low spots that accumulate water and debris.
