Alcoa's lifetime-product engineering applies to the smallest details of Traditional Select rain removal systems.
Warranty:
All Traditional Select rain removal systems are backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty (PDF).
Protective Finish:
The Alumalure 2000 finish is applied in two separate coating operations and baked on to outlast
the one-coat, polyester finished used on "seamless" gutter. In addition, interior gutter surfaces are
treated with a special, corrosion-resistant coating, then clear-coated, to withstand a lifetime of
bad weather, including acid rain and other atmospheric pollutants.
Color:
A variety of designer-selected colors are available to complement your home and to match
available Alcoa aluminum soffit and trim products. Ask to see a brochure for color selection.
Downspout:
Available in 2 sizes to ensure proper flow. A 2" x 3" downspout will handle typical runoff from roofs
up to 600 square feet. A 3" x 4" downspout will carry the runoff from a 1,200-square-foot roof.
Expansion joints:
Engineered to provide for expansion and contraction in longer runs of gutter and hip-roof
installations - an advantage not available in continuous or "seamless gutter."
Corner pieces:
Corner pieces provide an attractive, finished look for inside or outside miters.
End caps and eave tubes
End caps and eave tubes are precision engineered for a more secure seal.
